As anyone eaten Crocodile (fillets)? if so did you cook the thing yourself?.... Just wondering like whats the best way of cooking it.... I'll probably go with frying it in Olive oil and adding shallots and garlic, any tips though would be nice....
RE: Like eating rubber... Bloody hell i hope not, our lass fetched me two fillets of croc and a Kangaroo fillet and what they cost for the size of them i was hoping they'd taste on a par with Fillet of beef?... Ah well I'll give it a go, I'm always open to trying all things meat, and those two I've never tasted before so I've got my fingers crossed.... S)
Stevie Try to make sure you cook it from frozen, the juices tend to run out when thawing and it then becomes a bit bland. Had it a couple of times and enjoyed it. It is a really light coloured meat, but very tender when cooked well. Big thumbs up from me (Y) (Y) (Y)
Kangaroo didn't agree with me I was a bit jumpy for a few days after trying it. Still it was better than that sloth steak I had. Was confined to bed for ages after that.
RE: Stevie Yeah I've just read that Mark on the link Kanetiger put on, weird that though cook from Frozen! cant seem to get my head round that one, but its gone in freezer and I'll eat it another day, from frozen now.... No offence Kanekat.... (pint)
