Anyone as sad as me?

I have started counting down the games remaining.

Started at 13 to go.

Now I am counting down the days from matchday to matchday.

Then counting down the hours to a match on match day.

This run has been bonkers and is affecting my mental health similarly to the great escape season.

One game at a time and all that but I find myself having little scenarios in my head thinking if we win x amount of games and those teams lose x amount of games well who knows where it might take us.


Who honestly thought (apart from Whitey) that we would be talking Wembley and playoffs right now back in those dark November/December nights of LLLLLLLL?


Can we maintain it?
Can the lads rise handle the pressure?

I really do hope so.

Remaining fixtures
Remaining fixtures of teams around us
Form of opponents.

Maybe when I get mi ticket it`ll remind be of what, where and when.

 

It really is exciting, close to 96/97 although that was nervous because we were in front. Much better to be chasing somebody else down. And I'm even interested in the prem relegation race for potential opponents next year. Villa Newcastle and Sunderland would be fun
