Anyone been on Google Earth?

    Pretty impressive. It's basically a sattelite photo of Earth but you can zoom in to look at cities close up. Tarn is a bit blurry but places like London, Paris, New York etc are really clear. Passes the time time at work!

    Aye - looked on that at the weekend....could pick out Kefalonia airport ok.

    Also looked at Chicago and found quite a few major sites

    You can just about make out Oakwell if you look closely. The Palace in Baghdad is very impressive.
    It reminds me of that film 'Enemy of the State'. I wonder if they can zoom in from space and read text on a newspaper. No doubt Roundsman will know.

    They can read a bus ticket apparently. Google Earth is well impressive. I notice certain cities etc are much better photographed. I wonder if the whole world is more detailed on Google Earth Plus.

    They can read a bus ticket?

    Bet they can't read a Tracky one cause the ink is normally too faint!
