Honeymoon end of month Travelling to the below places Gibraltar Barcelona Vigo Malaga Porto Morocco Any feedback would be appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cruised Eastern Med on Spirit quite a few years ago. Was my first ever cruise and Thoroughly enjoyed it. Cant comment on those ports though only Gibraltar which was brill when we went there on another cruise. If you have not done so, I would select your cabin before you go aiming to be berthed in the middle of the boat. Less movement and noise. Good food and shows back then. Looks small at side of other ships, but it is still plenty big enough.
I know a few people who have been on this ship, its clearly aimed at the British market in terms of food and entertainment. I understand it is rather casual even in the dining rooms. Not many Europeans use this cruise line. If its your first cruise I would imagine you will enjoy. The people I know have been on this ship several times. For reviews look on cruise critic. Hope you enjoy.
Cheers guys Yeah heard it's very casual , which is good with my 7 month old travelling with us . Regarding the cabin we did pick in advance , £250 extra for a Fukin bath and window haha . Bought the 2 weeks drinks package also ( apparently this works out a lot cheaper ) Never been on a cruise before so really looking forward to it . First holiday as a family and Mr and Mrs haha . Also taking close family with us ( babysitters on tap) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We came off it 12th June.We did Barcelona and Malaga different itinery. If it's Cassablanca in Morroco lot of people say it's better to stay on the ship. There's a Facebook group for the Thomson Spirt with loads of info on there, ave a look at that.
We did the Island Escape ship of Thomson's last summer, but not to these destinations. So all I can tell you is that it's very British in terms of entertainment etc. Very informal, relaxed and like a home from home. For us the cruise was about all the places we stopped and so we were hardly on the ship, but I was aled up throughout. All-inclusive, top your pint up 24/7. Surprised I never went man overboard. It'll be grand, mate. I wish I was on it. Enjoy.
Cheers Whitey appreciate that Can't wait mate I know your a smoker so thought I would ask how does this work on the ship Can you smoke pool side or his there designated smoke areas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
