    Avoid witherspoons on Bedford st , it's a dive and there,s also some prat wanting to fight you ( after 6 pm ) . During day it's mainly office staff . Beware of the low life **** that use the pub . Cheap beer but unpleasant atmosphere I found , enjoy ! PS , avoid speaking English aloud .

    Go to The Crown great food great atmosphere...bang opposite the Europa Hotel proudly claims to be the most Bombed hotel in Europe..

    Plenty of bars along a mile long street , loads of students who visit the many cocktail bars .

    Think it's already been mentioned but we've got a pub called The Crown Liquor Saloon. Stunning pub, and owned by the national trust.

    Will and Michael will look after you. Decent beer too

    Do a lot of work there. The crown is ok for a pint. Head to the cathedral quarter and drink in the duke of York. Good mixed bar. Plenty of bars around that part. The student bars are all at the other end of the city centre, south of the Crown. Botanic area has a few good spots and is busy enough.
