    what about vegas and new york? trying to plan a honeymoon. have you been to dubai too - any good?! cheers

    Beverley Hills boring, Santa Monica about best place in LA.

    Las Vegas brilliant for a lads holiday.

    New York loads to do and see and worth going but only for 3 or 4 nights.

    Westwood is the place to go in LA its where UCLA is so plenty of nightlife and a commuateble distance to the like of Hollywood, Beverley Hills, the coast etc etc

    Yes 2004.

    Visited for half a day whilst on a three day stay in LA.

    LA well worth including in a US tour - not as much fun as NYC but you can easily make 3-4 days of entertainment (including Universal Studios for one of them).

    Yeah

    I've been a couple of times - was there for a day last month. There's certainly a few days entertainment to be had in LA but personally I had a better time in Las Vegas and New York.

    Recommend NY for a few days, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago - would have said New Orleans but depends how long before they get back on their feet.
    Depends what you look for - if you like museums then DC and Chicago inparticularly are both very good.

    Been to Southern California - close to Long Beach and the whole area is just a sprawl - wouldn't go back really unless I was visiting friends as I was then.
