anyone been to Cape Town?

just booked for cricket test match. Any tips?

Yes, was there on the last tour in 2005

Best city I have ever visited in the world. Must visits:

- Night out in Camps Bay, great bars, cheap seafood and amazingly fit girls
- Have a day trip to Stellenbosch and go to a vineyard somewhere on an organised tour, that way you can do a wine tasting session.
- Go to Cape Point where the two oceans meet.
- Obviously do all the Cape Town stuff - the view from the top of table mountain is awesome and its also pretty emotional visiting Robben Island. Just don't do what my mate did and have your photo taken outside Nelson Mandela's cell with your thumbs up...

Safety wise its not bad at all compared to the rest of South Africa - just make sure you do get taxis between everywhere though as its not wise to be wandering around on foot.

 

There'll be around 25 Dee Dars there at the same time as you...

....a good mate of mine and his club (Whitley Hall) are travelling over for Christmas and New Year to get a couple of Tests.
