Thinking of making an dental appointment in Budapest, and would like a recommendation before I go.

I've had a lot of dental work done in Russia and my wife has had 3 implants. Very happy with the results but this is at the top end of the price scale. Still cheaper than the uk though. What I certainly wouldn't do is go to the places which offer implants at 200 euros a pop. Got root canal work done here for 70 quid and it was rubbish.

They line up loads of students with perfect teeth for you to choose from.

I've got an implant a few years ago..........

.....cheapest I could get it done was £1800 at a dentist at the back of Peel Square near multi-story car park in Barnsley.
Other places throughout Yorkshire were quoting over £2200 for it.

If I remember right - they put a screw into your jaw and then let it heal around it before fitting the tooth.
So I can't see how you can have this done abroard because it took several visits to the dentist over a few weeks to get it sorted out.

That's right Nudge, and a point I was about to make. You have to wait 6 months after they put the post in before fitting the actual tooth, and that's if it holds and doesn't drop out.
