Went 6 years ago

So it's probably changed a lot.
It was great for a lads holiday if that's what your going for.

There used to be a penalty shoot-out competition on the main strip. Something like 2euros for 3 spot kicks against the owner. If you scored all three you won a bottle of cheap bubbly. That provided hours of entertainment. None of us managed it until the last night (the nets are small).

There was also a 5-a-side competition we entered, again on the main strip.

Its great

Everyone speaks English
You can get English food, inc breakfasts in most places and the beer isn't foreign either - mainly Stella and Heineken.
Theres also a bar thats called 'The only Fools and Horses Bar' where they show Only Fools and Horses Episodes a lot.

Quality sentence "the beer isn't foreign either - mainly Stella and Heineken"

So the beer isn't foreign then you go on to list beers from the Netherlands and Belgium, great examples lol

Brilliant if you're going with the lads. Been twice now (98 and 05) and going again in June this year.
Loads of bars and the beach is pretty good too. If you get the chance hire a jeep and have a drive around the island, the scenerys amazing in the mountains.
Nice steak resteraunt just off the strip too called "the singing chef". He bangs out the tunes while he's cooking your dinner!

I no 4 groups what went to the same place last year at the same time and most of them saw more than 1 other group from tarn. Ive heard its good for drinking as well.

Me and some of my mates are on about going this year

And why would you want to go some place abroad and then eat English food, drink English (or at least what's available here) beers, watch Only Fools and Horses etc?!

Sounds a bloody nightmare! I'm hoping he was being ironic though

Because it's hot, there's a beach, lots of single women and everyone's there to party without the stress of being at work :D

I'd agree...i don't look to go on holiday to another country that prides itself on being English in nature, I'd much rather go somewhere that's the complete opposite

And I'd say there was maybe a hint of irony in his post!

Not really

Plenty of places to go where the weather is better without still needing to feel like you are in the UK otherwise.

The bit about the beer not being foreign was quality though!

Went 4 years ago. Its pretty good but been I have been to better places for a lads holiday. Was a bit small thats all. We stopped in a bit of a wnak hotel though that spoilt it. It was run by Escapades ( a similar version to club 18-30). We didn't bother going on the chavvy bar crawls and crap they constantly tried selling us so the reps spent all the holiday been arsey with us. But suppose thats why they are reps - cos they don't have any ******* mates. So instead they rep and get loads of chavs to follow them round for a week. Everything else was spot on though!!

FACT - 100% of all Club 18 -30 reps are wnakers without any friends.

Thats true. We were in this bar in Zante and a bar crawl came in. One of the reps came up to me and said I had to down my drink cos I was drinking it while holding it in my right hand-I told him to **** right off!
