Agree Lots of bars and good restaurants. Like many big cities in Spain it's got a really good mixture of really modern and really old buildings. Worth a trip.

Yes, but it was 2 years ago and the whole town seemed to be a building site ready for that sailing thingy. City of Arts & Sciences going the way of most good Spanish things, shed loads spent on it but nothing kept back to keep it looking good. Mercado Colon good place to hang out, couple of good restaurants in their too, think Bamboo was one of them. Football ground looks crap from the outside but good views and atmosphere inside. Train station and the bull ring next door to each other are quite good also.
There are just as many obnoxious **** in Greece as well. Dont tar everyone with the same brush mate. Valencia is a lovely place.
