    Just had a call from a bloke at work

    Rotherham / Sheffield grid-locked, cars floating about in several feet of water at various locations.

    Carnage apparently.

    I managed to get to sheffield and the floods are unreal. I wish I'd gone back to bed to be honest.

    I Luckily did not come through Flockton today as Denby Dale road is flooded in Wakefield so went through Horbury Bridge and Middlestown, although was heavy traffic.</p>

    Cooperbridge in Hudds also very bad.</p>
