Anyone downloaded windows 8.1 ?

    I am currently doing so and to date it has taken 90 minutes to download 20%...

    is this normal or should I stop it and put up with the ***** windows 8

    opinions please ?

    Dont have it but im reading it is 3.5GB to download. so depending on your internet speed it will take as long as the average internet speed is. Go here to test your speeds (it'll be slower as you are downloading) http://www.speedtest.net/

    It takes ages. Best done overnight when servers are quiet and internet traffic is lower.

    It took over an hour and a half at 30meg but it installs as it downloads, add another half hour for it to set up so at least a couple of hours with reboots etc.

    Got to be worth it in the end though, the current Windows 8 makes my "pi55 boil"?
