park and ride by the sound of it,were parking by the marina on advice but who knows.

Barnsley Football Club are pleased to announce the details supplied by the Millennium Stadium this afternoon.

Barnsley fans will sit in the north of the stadium and use the following car parks-



Coach parking J32 - Civic centre

Car park & ride sites J29 - North Rd car parks (ORANGE CAR PARK AREA), Cathays High School (BLUE CAR PARK), David St multi-storey (BROWN CAR PARK) & Knox Road multi-storey (RED CAR PARK).



Drop off points will be-

North Rd car parks - this is a park & walk

Cathays High School - The Friary lay-by opposite the Hilton Hotel.

Knox Rd - this is a park & walk.

David St - this is a park & walk.



All car parks will have a staff presence from 7:15am, will open at 7:30am with the first bus at 8:00am. The last bus will leave the pick-up point at 7:00pm, with car parks closing at 7:30pm.



COACHES / MINIBUSES - Passes must be applied for to ensure free parking on tel. 029 20 822145 or e-mail football@wru.co.uk

Car parking is organised fantastically. as long as you follow the direction signs. you pay £10 for the car no matter how many is in and then buses take you to within 2 minutes walk of the ground, just get back on the right bus on way back (make a note of the colour car park) and they take you back to the car park.
