Bit tame on the western terrace today. Where having a bit of banter with Indian fans in front of us. But not as barmy as usual

It livened up later in the afternoon, when beer glasses {plastic ones},were being thrown about and a few scuffles broke out,the rozzers moved in an ejected a couple.I had a good view from the East Stand. Some good cricket too....Brilliant century from Root, hope he can repeat it in Yorkshire's final two games.

A few of us went today. Sat in football stand end but quite close to lairiest end of Western Terrace. Looked about 50/50 England/India fans, kicked off a bit, people getting collared for flinging plastic glasses about.

Roots century was superb, saw his 1st test century there last year, he's developing into a right player.
