From being 2 points clear.....taking gillingham out of the equation and only needing a draw next week to the uncertainty against this seasons champions elect.

Don't get me wrong, I'd have snapped your hands of to be where we are still this time 2 weeks ago and would think you were daft if you'd said we'd be in this situation at Xmas.

It's just when you can smell the playoffs and it's in your own hands and you are winning 2-1 against a team down to 10 and no GK you just don't think things could happen like it did on the 98th minute. We missed so many chances and didn't have the experience yet again to see it out professionally. Will stand them in good stead tho in future but what a day next week will be. Like some say tho......maybe knowing we have to win will go in our favour as we are **** at trying to play a defensive game.

I noticed today that some players are clearly suffering burnout. Winnall, Brownhill and even Hammill to an extent. I'd have freshened it up sooner today but I'm only a fan.

Well maybe that's the bad stroke of fate removed from our paths.. Rather today than next week I say.. You could tell the players were feeling the same so no point in people ripping them to shreds. I for some reason think we will beat Wigan next week. I would like to see Tuton get a good half at least, he looks hungry for it, somewhat an unknown quantity as well so Wigan can have done no research on how to stop him if you know what I mean.

I feel like I did when the play offs were stolen from our grasp in 91 (I think) when Brighton scored with the last kick of the game, when we were already on the pitch and the play off dates were being announced on the tannoy. Gutted doesn't cover it.

Just got home. This was definitely 2 points lost. A 2-2 draw that felt like a 10-0 loss. To be fair to Colchester they were the better team in the 1st half and played the better football. However, once we were 2-1 up why did we not go for a 3rd goal. Their goal was in the 8th minute of a minimum of 7. We did make 2 subs though which is probably why he added a bit more time on. Barnsley never like to do things the easy way so COYR ONE MORE TIME.
