    Wish I was. Seen them a fair few times and think they are great live. Definitely one of my favourite bands!

    each to their own. hope you enjoy ark, but earl's court is ridiculously big. i saw prince there in 1991. i'll never understand how people can enjoy gigs so big. funeral still their best work by a country mile.

    It was three weeks ago mate, didn't go to Hyde Park last night.

    I'd never been to Earls Court before, it is cavernous! Not a big fan of big venues but unfortuantely its the only place you get to see Arcade Fire these days. There was real party/carnival atmosphere though so it did work, bit like Pulp's Sheffield gig in 2012.

    Funeral's my favourite album of all time.

    Carnival is exactly the right word. there was such a vibe and pretty much as you hate big gigs usually.
