Anyone else got a email from "Halifax Online Security"

    No but I freqently get them from other banks

    All emails that appear to be from a bank that ask you to go to a website and confirm details are fakes

    In the case a bank or card company suspects fraud they usually write asking you to call them, or try to phone you and never ever ask for a PIN

    Yeah, plus the website address gives it away as fake and when I typed in &quot;fake&quot; as username and password it got through.</p>

    be warned though as some are quite clever by opening two windows - one to the real address in the background a new window in front (often with no address) asking for your details.
