Made the Sunday dinner and after I'd squeezed half a lemon over the salad I proceeded to eat the other half like I would an orange.

Been pointed out to me in the past this is 'a bit weird' (thanks Kev) and at least 1 person I know can't bear to watch my citrus munching antics!

    Anyone else eat strange stuff?

Oh and Sunday dinner is Greek salad, home made hummus, tsatsiki & toasted pittas. Then roast chicken wi home grown broad beans a la greque.Followed by strawberries, raspberries, peaches n cream. better than any barbie.

    I love sunshine I do

if so best results on an old fashioned enamel plate wi a slight well in it. the cheese goes gooey bit slightly crisp at the edges.

Try baking an egg in it too... bliss on a stick wi crusty bread.

Mossy will be pinching our recipes :D I reckon curried full english si pretty eccentric wi out nicking anyone elses idea

And since when has eating a lemon like an orange been weird? I've always eaten them that way!

    Try it

was a fave in my teens coming home from Broadway

Slice tomatoes, cover in cheese of choice on white enamelled plate wi slight well. Make indentation in middle of cheese.
Crack very fresh egg into it (old eggs spread too far). Sprinkle wi pepper or tabasco according to personal taste. Celery salt also good. Bake in moderate oven for anything up to 30 mins depending on how soft/hard you like your eggs.

Eat spread on crusty bread toasted or not however you prefer. MUST be sprinkled liberally wi Worcestershire sauce or Hendersons if you're a strict veggie prior to eating.

I do it differently - no tomatoes in mine

Sliced cheese all over plate, leave well in middle for egg. Crack egg ( can use two if you like) into well. Pour splash of milk over the egg. Place small pieces of bacon on top of the cheese. Add pieces of onion and stick in the oven on Gas mark 4 for about 20 mins or until egg white is solid. Scrumptilicious

Used to eat ketchup sandwiches with pepper, if we had any.

TPTB used to eat Dairy Milk with pickled onions! She also ate raw liver and for a while ate bits of coal.

    Microwaved onion

My dad swears by this, just peel an onion then stick it in the microwave until its nice and hot, comes out lovely and sweet.
