... in the directors' box at the Reading game.

Wonder if he was at Oakwell yesterday for "his team's" 125th anniversary celebrations?

    Couldn't write it

Let's all have a dig at Parky again shall we? Why would he make a 400 mile round trip to where he was born for a 2nd Division football match? OK the club was 125 years old but he now lives in the South and in all probability has a season ticket there. Half the fookers on here moaning about him didn't even go on Saturday and they live here. And before anyone says he came up for the game against Bradford City so did some of those quick to moan about him. He doesn't profess to be Barnsely's finest supporter, just a fan of football who looks out for his home town's results.

There are fans on here who do it on a regular basis and without the resources he has. I agree with the rest of your post though and that is the reason he doesn't come up.

Whether he's a tw.at or not wasn't really the argument but people seem to have a pop at anyone from Barnsley who has done well for themselves e.g. Parky, Goughie, Dickie Bird, Ian McMillan etc They are all Barnsley fans and the likes of Dickie and Ian are even ST holders so why we don't embrace them is beyond me.

Don't think I've ever heard of anyone having a go at Ian McMillan.

On the other hand, "Dazzler" is a prize prat. Supports whoever is top of the table with BFC gaining his affections whenever we have a big game. As if that's not enough he votes Tory and likes Tatcher. ******.

So would about 10,000 others - a big game always pulls in the part-timers. 125 year anniversary against Blackpool was not a big game in my book so no need for him to do a 400-mile round trip. Can anyone remember who we played on our 75th anniversary or our 100th anniversary by the way?
