Thought he looked quite good at center back.

Wouldn't mind him at all behind say Cranie Nyatanga Mcnulty and maybe Wiseman.

You appear to have conveniently ignored one of our better defenders in that list

    Better defenders?

I've missed defenders off, I haven't in my opinion missed anyone off that's better than J Scott.

In all fairness, Hassell wasn't involved in yesterdays 'behind closed doors' game or tonight's game. Not even on the bench. Cranie, Nyatanga, Mcnulty, Wiseman, Scott, Patterson were involved though.

That is because you have an irrational personal hatred for Bobby Hassell and his family.

    I do not.
To be honest i don't think about anything other than football with the football players.

In my opinion Jake Scott's a better player than Hassell of 23/07/13

That might have something to do with him having a shin injury.

Then why have you negatively commented on his personal life before? And why have you criticised and slated his off field activities?

Nonsense. In the heat of a championship game I would much prefer to rely on bob's experience. Did you miss his performances at cb last season? Tha talks poppycock.

Edit, Scott did have a decent game tonight though.

So, on the back of a non-competitive game, against a team that was probably trying out its own formation, you've decided that some youth with no first team experience ever is better than a player with almost 10 years professional experience in the Championship and League One? Aye, alright.
(No disrespect to Jake Scott by the way, I'm sure he is a good prospect, but I'd wager his own family might cringe at that suggestion).

Ignore the lovely person, dangling his Hassell bait again.

That explains it then. It was mentioned in The Chron that Danny Rose was injured and wouldn't feature in tonight's game. Didn't mention that Bobby was also injured. I wonder if Jennings had a slight injury? surprised he didn't get a run out in either game.

Not a lot, but then that's probably why the defence improved 10 fold after he left and the experienced Bobby Hassell came back in.

how did it imrpove when he came in. The best the defense looked was against Leeds in January with Stones in it.

Can't remember where I read it, but it was a training ground injury. Took a whack on the shin in a 7 aside training game in Spain.

It CONSISTENTLY (ie not just for 1 game before going back to being ****) looked much more solid after he came in. Wiseman improved with the steadying influence of Hassell at the side of him, Cranie settled down. The whole defence looked more assured and confident. Prior to that Hill was swapping the defence every week because it was so ****.

Stones wasn't a better player than Hassell when he first emerged. So Scott must be better than Stones?
