Thinking of spending my birthday there this summer, as Bon Jovi is performing there on the same day. Plus my birthday is on a saturday and so can get drunk in a different place to normal.

Yes. A couple of years ago.

I took my brother up for his birthday to watch Scotland vs. Australia in "The Game they play in Heaven" :D We sat on the halfway line, which was great for Rugby, but probably not for a concert. It was October, so it p***ed it down all day, but the craic in the Pubs around Edinburgh before and after the game (it was an evening kickoff) was great. Well recommend a night out in this town.

    Bon Jovi??

What did you do to deserve that?? Unlucky, mate.

Regular tribute act round the north - By Jovi. I find that funny.

Went for a rugby match in 06

Scotland V Australia ! No beer to be seen at the groundbut as people have said - Edinbrugh is quality! Been there twice - fantastic atmosphere and pubs. We stayed in Travel Lodge in citycentre - cheap and very handy for staggering home!
