Well ive had a go - lets see if its works! ff I cant see it but boy will it be a result if i get off. They are already winning one nil for me actually getting the ticket in the first place so i need to even it up. I somehow doubt i will but nowt to lose for trying.
I paid one yesterday I tried to make a story up but couldn't quite get one believable and ended up paying it regardless.
Barstewards

Not quite the same But i got a ticket for stopping on a clearway, and i wrote to them saying i thought that it was a bit harsh as I was lost and was asking for directions. I was actually dropping my mate of outside Rotherham bus station
I got off one in Sheffield once by.... ...putting the driver's name and address down of a bird I knew in Australia. Didn't here another peep. Also knew a lass who worked at the place that processed the tickets in Nottingham. She said that there were so many unpaid ones that once they'd tried and failed to trace the driver, after a year the tickets were destroyed. They were losing so much money through it that they started towing more regularly instead.
in blackpool.... but i had actually purchased a ticket. but when getting kids pram etc out of car i left it in the boot and went off for 8 hours. when i got back i had a £60 parking fine. i sent off the ticket with an explanation that it had fallen of the window on to my dashboard and that the ticket bloke had not bothered to look once he saw it wasn't on my window. they let me off with the fine
Parking tickets in Camden.... I'm currently arguing with the council over 4 tickets after a croad surfacing had allowed me to park on the road they were working on because i had a lot of tools in the vehicle.Their foreman even signed a letter stating his actions etc but i still got an increased fine on all four counts because 'you were parked in a suspended bay which was clearly signposted'.... they haven't even taken into account tat i had permission. Now; they say i need confirmation on a headed notepaper..... but the company concerned haven't replaied as yet and i've spoken to one of the gaffers about this on the phone!
i wish i hadnt put a ticket in at all now i just put one in for minimum time just incase there were any parky Barstewards on so they woudl see the ticket and walk on- i didnt think there were any on either. Anyway had a ticket when i came back. Doh. Got me fair and square but im still challenging for the laugh. Nowt to lose.
RE: Parking tickets in Camden.... How does a foreman of a road gang have the authority to allow you to park?
