Anyone going to the Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday?

I know they're aren't many rugby league fans on here but just wondering!

Manchester would be packed anyway for the England Footy then Rugby Union.</p>

It will be full of the other egg-chasers now.</p>

Think I might get to Manc for lunchtime and watch the England game in a bar... any recommendations near Piccadilly? No idea where I'm going in Manchester and going on my own!

I'd imagine they would be running the match day only trains to the Platform at the back of Old Trafford like they do when Man Utd play.</p>

Best to check as the trams get rammed.</p>

Last time getting away from the ground was the worst bit.

Its a nightmare , Man U games sometimes clash with me leaving work ..............</p>

Best bet is try and get the Metro from Harbour City , the far side of the Lowry Shopping Centre, most people go to Salford Quays or Exchange Quay to get back to town and its impossible to get on the Tram.</p>

looking foward to going back to headingley next year, just hope we don't concede 70 points again. the wife's a Rhino's fan so i don't usually get many bragging rites when we play but she is also a Leeds utd fan, so for the time been I get the upper hand there

16 lads , mix of navy,army and civvies will be in manchester from 10am on friday... till we are all dead or the last man is standing on sunday...... is there even a rugby game on cos come 6pm on saturday ill be in a bucket.......
