    To be fair ...

... I'd rather have my scrotum eaten by ants, my family raped & murdered, my house burnt down & be given electric shock treatment while Roundsman strums his bass than watch AFC.

    So that's a 'no'.

    £3???

Teams 2 leagues higher than AFC don't charge that. Why are they charging that much when their players only get £15 for winning a cup?

    Ahhh.

You must be from Lundwood if you can arrange all that at such short notice.

I've read the 'mission statement' on the AFC website ... but I still fail to see the point of the club.
My personal opinion is that it's a reyt bag of ballax.

I have absolutely no interest whatsoever & don't think AFC should have any connection to BFC.

so all the same rules apply like in the football league when all the teams charge the same entrance fee

    Erm ...

... did you not just state 'get down to Oakwell'?
Is that not a connection with BFC?

I wonder if I could get BFC to let my local pub team play at Oakwell? If there is no link between AFC & BFC , then surely every case would be treat equally?

We already have a team, called BFC, pretty far up the 'pyramid' ... I just thought we may want to concentrate our efforts on that.
What happens if AFC get into the League? BFC are then providing a rival club with facilities to take away it's business ...

    Very odd.
    Makes no sense.

I think the point we're making it that AFC play at a lower level than Worsborough yet their league apparantly charges a higher minimum entrance fee.

er and getting a very weathly individual, hacked off at losing the opportunity to buy his local football league club, to back you helps.

    RE: Erm ...

Anyone can hire a pitch at Oakwell, and as to the other point we should ban all other teams in barnsley just in case they start to rise up the pyramid, fair and valid point one town one football club, so where do we start Liverpool/everton, manchester united/ city and what are we going to do in London, sensible, very sensible.

    Exactly

You'd think that because AFC play at a lower standard, it would be cheaper to watch them play - because the quality is not as good.

Kinell. You are a proper pudding on a stick.

You missed the point by a squiliion miles.

Liverpool is big enough for two teams.
But would Liverpool offer their facilities to Everton?
Would Coca Cola offer their facilities to Pepsi?
Would McDonalds offer their facilities to Burger King?

I'm all for 'grassroots' - my mates play semi-pro & I wander all over the place to see them.
AFC, on the other hand, serves no purpose.
It has no real history & was formed, in my opinion, for a specific purpose ... that purpose no longer exists, and neither should AFC (unless it's designated as an official feeder club).

    This is my opinion, obviously.

Thank you for the insult obviously anyone that doesnt share your views is a pudding on a stick, it must be wonderful tobe you and know all the facts on A.F.C why it was started and why it should now fold, because i bet Andy Ritchie is shitting his self about our little set up, who next, wosbro, sturdy lads, hoyland jags, we,ll get rid of them then we,ll invade poland

Yeah but all those teams don't use BFC facilities.
That's the point isn't it? AFC was formed in protest against what was going on at Oakwell and now they play there.... bizarre.
