    My player gave up the ghost just on 11 months. took it back and got a replacement but that wouldn't charge from new so took that back as well. By that time the 705 Wi Fi was on offer and i eneded up with that which has its own charger.

    I came to use it on the docking station to charge but that wouldn't either so it got me thinking maybe there was nowt wrong with the players after all.......................... and was going to ask if i could borrow a docking station to check.

    I just went to Argos and got a new docking station and guess what,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it was the old one that was duff not the original 604, never mind, the warranty on the new one runs for 12 months from now so i did ok out of the deal.

    Thanks anyway.

    Now i have a 705 surpluss ........ LOL
