    .... I went cricket training yesterday morning and saw a few mates I haven't seen for around a year and had a bloody good laugh.

    Ache like hell and midge bitten to buggery today though :(

    Been doing online/lockdown gigs for a year. Managed to do a couple of recordings with a mate in the back garden today. Sounds terrible, but it was just good to be playing with someone in real time.

    Yes. I went Crown Green Bowling Friday and saw my bowling mates. Some of them for the first time in nearly 12 months :)

    Good for you. I love grass roots Cricket. There's always that chance of sumat amazing happening from nothing. An excellent catch, brilliant run-out. Wicket keeper not turning up so 12th man takes gloves and dives round like David Seaman. Miss it. Great stuff :)

    Having spent years playing cricket & up to the neck in my local club I took an online umpires course & having completed that I have bought myself a umpires coat & a copy of the MCC book of cricket laws thus enabling me to do some umpiring this season for the club , first match scheduled for 17th of april , therefore expect snow that day !
