    Aye, same in our family re Mothers day - never bother with it - commercial nonsense that kids shouldn't have to take part in.

    Usually exchange cards on Valentines Day, but not really a big thing in our house.

    Got a £20 meal deal from M&S which I am cooking later. Looks nice. Goats Cheese and caremelized onion tart for starter, Duck in orange sauce with side of Meditteranean vegetables. Chocolate souffle. Bottle of Bluff Hill sparkling white. Single Red Rose. Bargain. Also ordered her flowers to be delivered. Not arrived yet. Also, bought her a cocktail kit and book so gonna get hammered later.

    nice long bracing walk. Couple of bars of chocolate so he didnt quite get that right.

    Now I have to cook dinner for him - oh darn we have no parsley sauce to go wi the fish - will have to be takeaway curry at half time :)
