    I think they contain newspaper match reports (Daily Mirror?) across the ages. I was thinking about buying one as a gift but can’t find any independent reviews of a Barnsley edition.

    Yes, my wife got me one for my 40th birthday back in 2014. Hardback and a large book too, some brilliant memories of games I was at and an insight into our past. Highly recommended.

    I was given one as a leaving present about 10 years ago. It has press cutting of the Times that the Reds made headlines across the ages. The early years are understandably a bit sparse apart from the cup exploits in the early 20th century. The promotion to the premier league and the next season are covered well. I would say that the one I have is good but not brilliant.
