    Yes why

got the full monty with included calls anytime including common international countries etc

So far seems OK - The one time we had a phonenline fault they found the fault and fixed it quickly.

experience with broadband faults much less satisfactory

already have Tiscali broadband at £12.98 per month. Now being offered broadband and line rental, and free weekend calls, for £14.99 - seems too good to be true. Plus free set up rather than £30 fee. Just wondered if there were any problems...

Well if you are happy with the broadband

I have been happy with the phone service.
BT arent renowned for their phone support either - last time I had a fault when I was with BT it took over 2 weeks to fix.
The fault I had on the line since I switched to tiscali was fixed next day.

I did the switch away from BT and have been satisfied so far

I've been on Tiscali broadband a while and I've just swapped to the £19.99 package. Same as the one you've mentioned but it's free anytime calls and 8mb broadband. Cheap as chips.

Thanks - any problems with change from BT and how long does it take?

    I've only just done it

The e-mail I received from Tiscali says the changeover should take about 15 days. It also says "there will be a short outage on your phone line the day your new package goes live. This will be for approximately one hour." If that's the only problem I get them I'm laughing. I'll have to wait and see...

Do you know what speed you get...

...from your Tiscali 8Meg broadband? Mines not too hot... probably averages about 2Meg. The plus point is that it's never been down in two years of having it.

I am only on the 2 meg package at £12.99 per month at present - seems daft notto take line rental and weekend free calls as well for an extra £2 per month. Seems too good to be true!

I usually get around 6.5Meg on mine - sometimes it even syncs at bit higher. Having said that I just tried it now and its just over 5Meg at the moment (just checked the sync speed on the router and its 5.5Meg which is lower than normal - not sure why)
