Sorry if someone has already posted any of this, but what an unbelievable bunch of moaners they are!! We would NEVER complain like that, would we? Have a look at http://boards.footymad.net/mboard/fmb.php?tno=450 I was there and stationed almost above the goal line in the East Stand Upper and there is NO doubt that the ball crossed the line. What happened to get the ball there is irrelevant in the context of the match. The referee was giving fouls where none were committed and missing blatant ones so if he missed a bit of pushing and even hand balling in a goalmouth scramble should we be surprised? It shouldn't have mattered anyway - I don't remember seeing so many easy chances missed before by our team of super strikers. It really is getting beyond a joke now. It would be interesting to see a statistical analysis of chances missed this season - and I mean REAL chances like those on Saturday with the player in the six yard box and still missing the TWENTY FOUR FEET WIDE target!! How does that happen? I should have known better than to set off on a 2½ hour journey in freezing fog on Saturday morning. That will teach me to get all optimistic!!
