Just wondered if anyone had got to the point where they thought what's the point going any more? Not just because of the poor results but because of how things are run down there from the very top to the very bottom. Just seems like a very unprofessional outfit that does not want to listen and appears stuck in the dark ages. What value for money does the average pay on the day supporter get these days? I know i will expect some comments along the lines of "back the club, the club needs the fans etc etc" but given the way of the world right now i am sure there are a lot more imprtant things in life that people have to save for and going to Oakwell is a very expensive "luxury".
If I could get some sort of refund for my season ticket I would snatch their hands off. That's how fed up I am.
Yes. Ill go back if we're took over, had enough of Pat and Don to be honest. In fact I'm even going to the mother in laws in Manchester today instead of Oakwell and its raining!
snap, lost all joy of going, started thinking the leeds games gonna be my last this season (and im a season ticket holder)
There are far more important things than football, but to answer your question no.Supporting my own town team means a lot to me and my family.I'll take the bad with the good.I've seen better times than at the moment but believe me I've seen far far far worse times than now.
No but I fully understand those who have. For me its more than the game on the pitch its a part of life that I had ever since I was quite small and for over 40 years so I cant just walk away but there is no logic to going at the moment - its expensive the product is poor and the way the club is run is even worse. I will still be there next year going to Yeovil and Brentford but I dont blame the thousands who will be doing something better with their hard earned cash
Ever the optimist I will excitedly hurry down to Oakwell today thinking it can't possibly be any worse than last time.
I sort of feel more for the club than ever at the minute in a strange way. I'm so depressed every week with it all, but I love the club and want to see things turn around. I'm hoping and praying new people come on board and turn the off field issues around, to me this is more vital than the team on the pitch, even if we go down (which isn't the end of the world even though it feels like it as I hate league 1). If things don't change over the next few weeks, tickets prices, offers, communication from the board etc then we the needs need to speak louder and take action, protest and really put some pressure on....our club can't be allowed to die any longer by the men at the top, it's OUR club and we can't let these people kill it!!
Fed up to Hell, but I wont stop going. Just like my other team, Fev rovers, seen them go through some right **** but I still get a ST. Things are looking great there now
Th worrying thing from my own point of view I think is over the 40 odd years I have supported the reds I would move heaven and earth to get to a match and been really pissed off if I couldn't make it, even after moving away from the area, now it doesn't really seem to bother me if I can't get there and that can't be right.
The number of loyal fans who're thinking seriously of not bothering next season should be a worry but I'm not sure the club are that bothered, it's like we've geared up for life in League One so if it happens, it happens.
On the whole, yes fed up.........but then you get the little spikes of optimism (Millwall away) that makes you think we've turned the corner........but we haven't, so after Birmingham performance/result you get fed up again. I am down Oakwell today and as always, optimistic (maybe blindly so) that we will win. Let's see what happens.........
