Icon keeps greying out and the only way I can seem to fix it is to reinstall AVG every time.
How have you fixed it, assuming you've had the problem?

Try this

Go into C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free
Then go into Tools Menu > Folder options > View tab.
Click to show hidden files and folders.

Arrange the files in that folder by name (right click on empty space in the window) and the last one should be called "WAIT4SD"
Delete this and restart.
It should solve the problem
