I like the way they word it... To protect you from online fraud. Well when a credit card is cloned/fraudulently used, the victim of the crime is the credit card company not the card holder. It's to cover their own backsides.
RE: I like the way they word it... Yes, but not very nice nonetheless if you check your statement and see loads of transactions on that you haven't done and you have the hassle of having to sort that out.
