    Ronnie scored a hattrick that day

    I watched the game from the kop. Very warm day if I remember rightly. We had to win by 4 and hope Plymouth beat Rotherham in order for us to take the division 3 title. Some wag with a radio claimed Rotherham to be losing, but they won the game. No matter, we won 4-1 (Parker got the other I think), were promoted in second place and everything was just fine and dandy-o.

    Sorry, no idea about the answer to your question, just wanted to wax lyrical for abit.

    Along with 40 Newport fans... Nice end to the season it was.
