Anyone have any fencing timber going cheap?

    I need to build my Mam a small 3ft. fence down the sides of her garden to stop the dogs getting getting through the hedge. It's a council house and she's on her own so I don't want her to spend too much. Also, I much prefer to use reclaimed timber if possible.

    I know a place up Hoyland Common I can go to if stuck, but if you have any ideas give me a shout, cheers. :)

    why dont you make it out of pallets,theres always loads knocking around

    just takettimbers off the top andthere you have your fencing timber

    Have you seen any? A pile of 10 might be enough. They are an absolute bugger to break up as well without ruining the timber.

    You can probably get someone to fit a new fence 3ft high for about £18 a metre which isn't a bad price and will look a lot better than palets

    Thanks but that would be about £300. I'm looking to buy someone's old fencing for about £50 and re-use the timber.
