anyone have any unusual nicknames for houshold objects?

In our house at the moment hot-water bottles are referred to as "dog magnets" because when you fill one up you get followed by our furry friend until you put it into your bed. Then she waits for her opportunity and curls up on top of it as soon as you turn your back! Poor ZCU woke up last night pressed against the wall by a big, black, smelly heat thief.
