</p> Made national news. Well, there's a storm brewing, and I for one won't be buying NME anymore.</p> http://true-to-you.net/morrissey_news_071127_01</p>
He's going a bit mad isn't he ? To paraphrase the Daily Mash - 'at least Germany is German and the trains run on time'
NME stitch up ! im proper angry read it about 4 times now to try and see there angle.... it seems to me the only angle they had was to generate a story which they knew would sell copies fo there fecking awful magazine... im still spitting angry at it and whilst morrissey continues to enjoy success the nme will never forget 1992....... shoddy, lazy journalism that seeks to sensationalize....... and if i could spell id make a better go of it than them ! tossers !!
That Editor at NME ...is a first class ****. I cancelled my subs there and then, getting the next 3 months mags (paid for already) sent to a mate. No reading the filth again.</p> I hope he gets the sack and Moz sues the **** out of them good and proper. I like the way Tim Jonze has completely come clean, washed his hands of it and stuck the editorial team right in the ****- too rayt</p>
RE: That Editor at NME i thought that when i red the mag on weds , interview - tim jonze words - nme good to read the piece on true to you that clears it up ,the nme editor has a lot answer for it seems , first grade toss pot that he is...
RE: That Editor at NME Have they stitched Morrisey up then ? Cos he's been made out to be slightly hatstand.
Love the legal letter I've seen some like that myself. Dear NME chap, we wish to sue you even though we have no idea what you have said as we haven't read the article in question. Yours, a load of nobs.
I do not see the comments as Racist at all...its fact the indigenous people of the British isles are being slowly but surely diluted away.whats Racist about that, its something thats happening and it cannot be argued over , its fact. If more and more other cultures/creeds/races/religions whatever come here then it stands to reason they will dilute the ones already here...how on earth is that racist. The guy is of immigrant extract and origin so he has a clue what he is talking about I would say. The influx of foriegn people coming in has many bad points, but it has many good points too.The key word here I feel is FEAR, from both sides of the coin..from the indigenous and from the immigrant too. Unfortunately things like the "Teddy Bear" incident do not help. The guy now lives and works in America....and COME on there is no bigger country of immigrants than The U S of A, and also the multi-culture is one of there....but its also arguably the biggest hotbed of Racial intolerance too. Maybe Britain is going that way too...if it has not already.
Just for Harrow Tyke http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/celebrity/free-'editor-of-heat-is-a-total-*****'-sticker-for-every-reader-20071204576/
I thought you could use the idea for NME. Plus I got muddled up with the magazines that reported on Morrisey because I'm an arse. So it's more of an after thought really. To try and cover my mistake. Do you think I've got away with it?
in response too http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-1295013,00.html?f=rss Live by the sword die by the sword comes to mind to me
http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/tim_jonze/2007/11/tim_jonze.html Opposite side of it. Seems Morrissey has some more to answer for to be fair......
loved this from the comments bit.... Azathoth Comment No. 961084 November 30 18:52 GBR Perhaps he's irked because the NME have been smearing his name for years? Are you a journalist Tim? If so why, exactly do your opinions matter? Your job is to conduct an interview so we can hear the views of someone millions are interested in, not inject your own invective which, I'm fairly sure, very few beyond your Mum give a toss about. I share your opinion of Mozza's ignorance but this article simply comes over as you trying to further your own career by stoking up this 'controversy'. Shabby stuff. Why didn't you just post it as a comment on the already existing Morrisey blog?
Very strange views on immigration... on a man who's family name suggests he's from an Irish immigrant family.
