Anyone heard/know of uniblue registry updater..It want me to accept download

    The icon's showing on my desktop but I haven't knowingly put it there. Its saying there are 17 updates to download and keeps prompting me to accept download. I don't know whether its genuine or a virus of somekind.

    yeah, thats what I'm doing at the moment thanks. Its just that it can get a bit annoying as it surfaces everytime I log on and I have to keep closing3 or 4 different prompts down.

    It says blue in tie programme name. You normally ignore anything with the word blue in

    It is a genuine product. It lets you use it and it will tell you what needs cleaning up and then it keeps asking you to pay for the full product. Its an anoying little sod but won't harm your system. Best thing to do is uninstall it. You can get free reg cleaners like CC Cleaner for free. Just go to the Computer active web site and you should find loads of free stuff.
