    Yeah I have...

    Got the Humax 160gb one. Its the biz! You can record 2 different programmes at the same time and watch another one (or something you've previosuly recorded.) I had the single tuner version previously and was well happy with that so upgraded.

    You can also download the programmes to your PC and upload mp3s and digital photos to play/view on it although I haven't bothered trying that.

    I got my Dad a Humax for Xmas.

    I think I got him the one with 80Gb HD , is the multiple record function on specific models?</p>

    They brought out a new one model in the summer. 9100 off the top of my head.

    Thikn it needs an additional tuner or multiplexor or summat.

    what is dvb-s, dvb-t?

    what is the best to have? I have no idea what this is. Box type or something I know, but I don tknow what it means.</p>

    DVB just stands for Digital Video Broadcasting. The letter after it represents the way it is broadcast, so
    DVB-S is satellite, DVB-C is Cable and DVB-T is terrestrial - ie freeview.
