i've got a business idea that, while it will never make me a millionaire, should pay enough to take care of the mortgage, food/home bills + a week in sunny spain etc.

i'm currently in a well paid job but the hours and stress are killing me off, i can quite easy work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, but am i appreciated - no!

i plan to purchase a residential property near town centre that i intend to live/work in. i would convert 2 of the rooms into my business and use the rest of the space to cram in my girlfiend and 2 kids!

scary thought is, business idea doesn't work out, i'm unemployeed and can't pay the bills! then i'd lose everything.

can anyone give it to me straight, ie how did you start out, what problems did you face, looking back was it worth it.

cheers for your help (if i get any that is!)

    ta y'all

The success of the buisness would depend on occupancy rate of your two rooms and how much you charge the Eastern European girls ..............(dancin)

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Depending on the nature of your business, there may be stipulations on the deeds of the property preventing conversion to business premises.
