Yep. A61 was blocked just outside Greno at 3pm

Floods there this am, fallen trees blocking the roads at 3pm near the Jet Garage. Had to divert towards Wortley, passing overturned lorry on A629 tried to take back rd into Greno, but road from also blocked, ended up doing detour via Deepcar & Oughtibridge. Ecclesfield Flooded. Amazed I got home in 1 piece.

M1, M18, A1M all shut in places throughout South Yorkshire. Tinsley viaduct shut both top and bottom at the minute.

Looks like most rail routes out of London also closed

Expensive cab ride for me by the sounds of it.

Had a collegue go to Glasgow this morning, left at 8am. Train was restricted to 50mph Phoned us at 2pm to say a tree had fallen on track so wouldn't get to Glasgow till 1500. The train went back to the last stop and she is on her way back to Sheffield. Prob won't get back till 10ish!

    Blockage

Police / Fire brigade were just on scene at 3pm. There may have been a car involved, but def a big tree down. I would hope that they could've shifted it by now.

    WHere u going?

Just avoid that bend just by the A61/ A629 junction near the Jet Garage. You can get on the A629, but that was fairly horrible too.

I think I'm OK, I'm going into Sheffield via Pensitone Road

I hope to cut through Parson Cross. Might be wrong mind!
