Not too fussed about the type of food. I've not eaten out there in a long time but I know about Rinaldi's and the usual Chinese/Indian places.

    Anywhere new that's recommended?

Is that the place that's down the side street where Mex Millenium is?

Aye down the cobbled street. If you tell them its your birthday they get you to neck as many tequila's as you can while all the restaurant sings to you. Classy!

Is a fantastic new Italian on Smythe street (hang a left after you pass buzz walking down westgate). Been in there 5 or 6 times and it's been fantastic everytime. Best italian in Wakey.

I'm told Coco on Northgate is pretty good (if a little pricy). Not been though.

Theres a pub at Newmillerdam which does decent meals. I'd recommend there if you don't mind travelling out of the centre.

Cow Shed - nice grub but overpriced for what you get. Same quality elsewhere for less (went last week £70 - 3 course for 2 people).

Quo Vadis - good food again and not too expensive but have heard some problems with service but not been experienced when i have been there.

Bella Roma - quality Italian but can get a bit noisy.

Thai on Square - my number 1 choice - excellent. If its for a birthday tell them and free dessert should be yours.

Red Chilli 2 (kirkgate)- not actually been but I have only heard good reports about it.
