mcCann and pete have recovered and are back in the squad, now hayes and mattis have gone down with it. we won't miss mattis and hayes hasn't been in squad for weeks, but it's a shame he won't even get his chance now that dan's got a 3 match ban for doing NOTHING! Eckerlsey has got a groin strain so is still out for the game but will be fit for the stoke game next monday

Yeah, am not his biggets fan either, but guess he will be back in the squad anyway.bumped into neil austin at oakwell this morning, he said it will be a fight for places tonight as most of the team are fit. asked who he thought would would play in place of reid cos he's got sore feet (bless!)he said probab;y young rob. asked a out kay, why he's been dropped and if he will play tonight. He said 'doubt it mate. not much chance of that happening'. when i asked if there had been a problem between kay and wavey davey he just smiled, winked at me then said 'I can't really comment on what has gone off between ant and our so called manager!!' doesn't sound good though!

i like austin as well.he has calmed down alot, i used to be really scared everytime he went in for a challenge, or ran at a player but now he's ok! don't think he will play though. he wasn't hopeful when i was chatting to him. thought hassell ad a decent game at the w/end against s/hampton

Thought Aussie did ok whan i saw him vs Leeds and west brom, cant fault his commitment and tackling.

i'd pick a back four of Austin Hassell Nyatanga Hecky tonight...doubt that will happen though.

bit too much information there I think. Neil Austin will be in the headmaster's office now.

    RE: is that wise?

Probably too late, grapevine works very quickly from here sometimes.

Mind, I doubt if Ozzie will be around next season anyway, along with all the others.

    Good point.

But Davey plays them out of position, so we've ended up with Sparracuda tidying up round the back.

    I like Quim.
He's an aggressive forward - always in your face.

    One-Eyed-Womb-Ferret's shooting is excellent.

I'd bring in Stephen Taylor from Newcastle on loan.

We need back up in central midfield.

Just in case fish-mitten or one-eyed-womb-ferret get injured.

Only last week the physio was on the pitch - rubbing fish-mitten on the sidelines so the action could carry on.
