yep a mate of mine.............Ebay id Redtyke, sells collectibles. Just opened a shop as well 'The Shop Beyond The Bay' Old Town near the Grey Horse.
Not personally, but I've read a few interesting articles of people who can make as much in a week through selling on ebay as they would in a month of selling in shops. It seems logical enough, if you have a shop then people have to come to you and browse. There's only a certain number of people in the shop's catchment area. Whereas selling online makes your merch available to everyone with access and there's the added bonus of them not having to leave the house!!
I made an attempt at one time to pay for a holiday, it was a lot of hard work, and in my opinion not really worth the effort. Msde a profit of about £500 over 3 months.
(pint) Yes, a friend of mine packed in his job. Now sells on ebay selling Power tools etc. Making twice the money now he did in his job and works half the time. Therefore his golf handicap has much reduced
Shhhhhhhhhh !!!!! Don't tell the taxman, he's asleep at the moment, but when he wakes up he'll lick his lips and he'll turn his attention to EBay traders ... so shhhhh !!!(wicked)
I've been told but not sure on teh accuarcy that e-bay users will shortly have to supply their NI numbers to e0bay so the IR can see who is earning a living and who is just selling for fun...
