Anyone know anything about fold up bikes?

    Thought we might get a couple for next year's camping.
    I haven't a clue what to look for or any pitfalls with them or even if they're a good idea so any advice from anyone in the know would be great.

    make sure u tightent the screw up reight! Really dont handle at all well all loose! :)

    U on about the briefcase sized ones (or other minature ones) or just those that fold in half?

    Some here, but a bit more pricey than £100! We just take our normal bikes on a bike rack ... having said that, the amount of clobber we have on a camping trip is just ridiculous. Takes a day to pack/ unpack.

    Oh this bike shop is on Bramall Lane by the way ... the only other place I know is Butterworths on Leppings Lane! They's have to order though.
    Decathlon might be worth a try for a cheaper option.

    I've got a Brompton. Absolutely great.</p>

    Used itin the City and around Reading. It's the only fold up that London cabbies will allow in the cab, should you feel really lazy and that.</p>
