Anyone Know how many tickets we've sold for Yeovil??

We've been impressive and travelled in numbers so far this season around 900 at both away games. I know it wont be as high as that due to the distance.

Only 132!? So we'll probably end up with around 200-250 there on the day. Which is very, very poor from us, especially given the way people are starting to think we have a decent shot at promotion.

I know it's a long trip and all but even Scunny managed almost 200 last week and they've had a shocking start. I've bought my ticket but I can't believe more haven't.

P.S. If only i had previously booked a week or two on holiday in Weymouth, i could have then made the trip.

 

Don't forget It's not pay day until tomorrow for them on monthly, a lot of folk live hand to Marth, especially when they've got a hobby as expensive as watching football.

As I'm going to see my mate in Bristol this weekend I'm planning to go but as I don't live near Barnsley I won't be able to buy tickets.

You can pay on the day though it might cost up to £23 standing, £25 seated.

Probably being a bit harsh but I do like it when we travel in numbers and after taking nearly a thousand to Northampton and our convincing win last weekend I thought a few more might be tempted to make the long journey down to Somerset. Let's hope those that have chosen not to go miss out on another good win!

 

Myself and Mario were planning on going (went last season and had a great day and night), but I bought a car a couple of weeks ago and have left myself a bit on the short side. Gutted but not worth skinting myself even more for.

Off to watch Knaresborough Town in the FA Cup instead.

I reckon we will take 400 which would be a very good turn out for the distance. How many pre sold tickets have gone doesn't matter to me because most people won't make a specific journey to Oakwell to pick up a ticket for a match that won't sell out. They will just pay on the day to save the bother. I'm not sure anyone should really be getting ahead of ourselves yet. We've not played a team i'd expect to be challenging for promotion. MK Dons in a few weeks is the first real test. We've not played Brizzle, Posh, Orient etc.

 

Coventry won't be miles off.

400-500 would be a good turnout and what I'd expect given our decent start, the result there last season and the fact it's less likely to piss it down on that terrace as it's still August.

 

It's £49 for match ticket and coach from oakwell so it's about the same price as Leeds away it's not the cost that's keeping people away it's the time it takes to get there and back that's putting people off I would have thought

 

It's cost me £47 return on the train and £18 for match ticket, expensive but not surprising considering the distance.

Imagine being a Yeovil fan, they have to make trips like this every other away game!
