Murphy; Kebbie, Lang (trialist), Lovell (trialist), Templeton; Mottley-Henry, Harris, Cissi (trialist), Carvell; Brown, Ash.

    Lost 1-0.

    1,420 in attendance.

Twitter suggests BFC were all over them but lost 1-0.

I'm just happy that the club listened and gave Rec a night like that. Hope those who went enjoyed it.

And well done Ry Smith. Worra moment. Scored against tarn.

    I bet it wasn't £38 a ticket.

I bet it wasn't. A bit like none of our home games are £38 a ticket currently.

It was a good game. Rec won 1-0.No6 (Reggie Blinker lookalike apparantly a triallist looked immence)

Rec worked brilliantly. 1400 thro door. Beer tents full. Club will have a seasons coin int bank before a ball is kicked. Well in BFC.

Reds fielded a young group of talented players who were out to impress. The Rec were a team who knew what their jobs were and performed perflectley to their limits.

Absolutely no reason why the club can't do it every summer, similar to what we seem to do with Frickley. Shows support to another local club who may rely on a decent pay day once a season to make ends meet. We're all fromt tarn at the end of the day.

I can remember playing on the Roc when there were goal posts but not much grass. We then set up the Athersley Tigers with Mr Webb and set up another pitch in the next field, happy days.
