if,when you arrive at the ground,go along to the box office and purchase a stand ticket.unfortunately it is for their end ,we did that last season and there was no problems with home fans. Their end however is at the other side of the ground, walk all the way around and sit behind the goal not in the terrace.
RE: 800 tickets to stand and no seating. If Oakwell has sold all 800 tickets, I don't see how they will allow anyone to pay on the gate, as that presumably is the capacity of the Layer Road terrace. It seems a bit of a shambles and you could do worse that phoning Colchester to check. They were prepared to offer me a seat, if I had some reason that I had to sit, but they would need to check it with their Safety Officer. If they can't guarantee that there will be spaces on the terrace, I don't think you can be certain they will allow you to pay on the gate. I have a ticket to stand!
