There's nothing on the ticket section of the website. I phoned the box office and they seemed to think it was all ticket, but surely that doesn't make sense as we won't take that many down there?

It's the same every away game these days mate ....

..they start them off as 'all ticket' cos BFC get a pay-out from the home team for selling tickets. It also gives the police an idea how many will be travelling.

However, a day or 2 before the actual game they change their story and say you can pay on the day (usually when we have sold less than 100 tickets!), although sometimes it's a quid or two more than buying a ticket in advance.

Been to most away games this season, and I can't think of any, perhaps with the exception of the fowls, that you couldn't pay on the day. No football club with seats to spare are going to turn fans away with £22 in their hand.

The clubs 'vagueness' about whether it's all ticket or not is for the reasons given above, cos it's to their advantage to be vague!

Its a bit of a joke though innit- when you're organising for folk to go down there en masse!

You have to assume that all ticket means all ticket because you have flights and hotels booked. So it means that someone has to stump up in advance for 20 tickets. You can't just nip down oakwell on Thursday if they descide not to open it up when you live in North Watford.

They should be more honest about the rules so that fans who travel a long way (and you don't get much further than BFC and Southampton) know exactly what they are doing.

Thats going in the suggestion box.

The thing that pi55es me off is....

....you buy your ticket in advance get a **** seat cos they fill from the front. The jobsworth stewards won't let you move and then all the fans who turn up on the day get the best seats.

I'm on the Isle of Wight during that weekend and would love to go. I have emailed Southampton and asked the same question, but they have just ignored me unfortunately.

If anyone finds out if you can pay on the day, I would be most grateful.
