They only just announced a "promotion dinner"?!

Bit late aren't they? Hold on a bit and they can make it a relegation dinner instead.

 

I know I'm being negative but...

if I went I honestly don't think I'd be able to stop thinking "look how far backward we've come in ten short years."

when you look at that team, how they played and the success they achieved, it pains me to think how long it will be before Barnsley once again achieve even a mid-table finish in the second division, never mind making a oush for promotion.

last 10 years, promotion and relegation to and from the premier, wembley playoff final, cardiff play off final, administration, beat Man U, Liverpool, Tottenham. Thousands of managers and player.

10 years before, err, mid table, nearly made the playoff, couple of derby wins, 5th round of fa cup.
